To become a Member of Asian Society of Dermatopathology, the person must be a registered medical practitioners who live in Asian countries or their nationality belongs to Asian countries and is licensed in pathology or dermatology and is certified and/or recognized as a dermatopathologist by the official or duly recognized dermatology/dermatopathology organization in their home countries, or by the Asian Society of Dermatopathology - Asian Academy of Dermatology & Venereology (ASD-AADV), International Committee for Dermatopathology - European Union of Medical Specialists (ICDP-UEMS), Royal College of Pathologists (Dip RCPath, DMT), American Board of Medical Specialties (AMBS), or dermatopathology specialists in Asian countries recognized and approved by the Executive Committee of ASD.
The person who is a trainee or fellow in an ASD approved dermatopathology training program or a certified dermatopathologist who does not reside in Asia, or an Asian physician without certification in dermatopathology, or non-physician researcher or scientist with an interest in the skin pathology can apply for Associate member.
The annual membership fee for member is US$100 per year and US$30 per year for associated member. The member can sponsor two nominated associated members to waive their member fee. ASD.
